Abdomen + Chest Laser Hair Removal (Men)

Fifty minutes, both areas back to back. We treat chest and abdomen in the same visit, at our studio in Doral, Miami, with the Alma Soprano ICE Platinum diode laser with a cooling tip. It feels like gentle warmth, not a sting — and thick torso hair is exactly the kind that responds best.

The change shows from the second session. First the hair grows back finer, then more sparse. No half-shaved look: the hair simply stops coming in.

How many sessions will I need? Between six and eight, spaced four to six weeks apart. Men's hair is denser, so the first sessions show the biggest change.

Why doesn't it work for some men? Almost always because of something nobody asked them before starting. If you have an untreated hormonal imbalance, or take biotin, supplements or any medication that affects hair growth or loss, the laser is working against hair that keeps coming back. The right thing is to finish that process first — and we'll tell you so at your assessment, even if it means you don't book today.

Before your session:

• The area must be completely shaved with a razor, with no deodorant.
• If you are taking or about to start any medication, let us know before your session so we can verify it is not photosensitive.

After your session:

• Use sun protection.
• Do not use alcohol-based products or deodorant right after the session.
• Avoid hot baths, heavy sweating and massages for 5 days.

Not candidates:

• Pregnant or breastfeeding.
• Blonde or gray hair.
• Vitiligo.
