FREQUENT ASKED QUESTIONS
CANCELLATION POLICY
We understand that unexpected situations may arise before your scheduled appointment. However, if you fail to cancel or reschedule at least 48 hours in advance, we lose the opportunity to accommodate another client, and our business is directly impacted.
For this reason, the full cost of the service will be charged to the card on file in the event of late cancellation or no-show. To avoid any charges, please reschedule or cancel your appointment at least 48 hours prior to your scheduled time.
By confirming your appointment, you acknowledge that you have read and agreed to these terms.
All fees and deposits are non-refundable.
WHAT IS THE IDEAL TECHNIQUE FOR ME?
Microblading is ideal for those who want a fuller yet natural look. It’s perfect for clients who prefer not to wear brow makeup, as this technique enhances your natural brows rather than replacing makeup.
If you enjoy a softly defined, makeup-inspired finish, the Powder Brows technique creates a subtle, powdered effect that mimics the look of lightly filled-in brows. It is also an excellent option for oily skin types, or for those who already have brow hair but want to refine the shape, fill in gaps, and add definition.
For clients seeking a balanced, in-between result, Latin Brows offer the perfect combination. This technique delivers a naturally enhanced look with a polished finish, so your brows always appear groomed and defined without the need for daily makeup.
HOW LONG DOES THE SEMI-PERMANENT TREATMENT LAST?
Microblading typically lasts between 12 and 18 months. Powder Brows shading can last up to two years or longer. Longevity varies depending on skin type, lifestyle, and aftercare.
Unlike traditional tattoos, these techniques are not permanent, as the pigments are deposited more superficially in the skin. To maintain optimal color, shape, and definition, most clients schedule annual touch-ups.
IS THE SAME EYEBROW DESIGN ALWAYS USED FOR ALL CLIENTS?
Each design is completely customized. Every brow is created according to the client’s facial morphology, ensuring balance, harmony, and results that enhance their natural features.
IT IS PAINFUL?
During the first few minutes, the sensation feels like light scratching — noticeable, but very manageable.
We then apply a topical anesthetic containing lidocaine, tetracaine, and epinephrine to ensure maximum comfort. Most clients find the procedure completely tolerable, and many even relax enough to fall asleep.
WHAT IS AFTER CARE LIKE?
Aftercare lasts 7 days. During this period, you should avoid excessive sweating, sun exposure, and activities such as going to the beach or pool.
Proper aftercare represents approximately 70% of the treatment’s success and is essential for achieving optimal, long-lasting results.
HOW MANY APPOINTMENTS ARE REQUIRED?
Two appointments are required.
The first is the initial procedure. The second is a touch-up session scheduled approximately 45 days later. During this visit, we evaluate the healed results, reinforce any strokes if needed, and adjust the color to ensure optimal balance and definition. This appointment focuses on refining details to guarantee complete client satisfaction and typically takes about 60 minutes.
HOW DO THEY LOOK OVER TIME?
We use the highest-quality pigments available, designed to maintain their tone without unwanted color changes. If touch-ups are not performed, the pigment will gradually fade over time and can fully disappear within approximately three and a half years or sooner, depending on individual factors.
WHAT IF I AM CONCERNED ABOUT THE COLOR?
Our specialty is achieving natural-looking results, which is why we carefully select the pigment based on each client’s natural hair color and undertone.
If there is any uncertainty, we always recommend starting with a softer, more subtle shade. During the touch-up appointment, both color intensity and thickness can be enhanced if the client chooses to go bolder.
HOW LONG DOES THE MICROPIGMENTATION PROCESS TAKE?
The procedure typically takes between two and a half to three hours. We dedicate the time each client requires, as we are working with your face and precision is essential. Our goal is to ensure perfectly balanced brows in terms of symmetry, shape, and color.
WHO IS NOT CANDIDATE FOR THIS TREATMENT?
Micropigmentation is not recommended for the following individuals:
· Clients prone to keloid scarring. If unsure, medical documentation may be requested.
· Individuals with immune system disorders such as HIV, lupus, hepatitis, or similar conditions.
· Epilepsy or uncontrolled arthritis.
· Active skin conditions in the brow area, including acne, psoriasis, dermatitis, or rosacea.
· Diabetes that is not well controlled (blood glucose should be under 200 mg/dL).
· Pregnant or breastfeeding women.
· Hemophilia or clotting disorders, especially those who experience excessive bleeding from minor cuts.
· Clients currently undergoing treatment with Accutane/Roaccutane or systemic steroids. Treatment must be discontinued for at least six months prior to micropigmentation.
· Clients who have undergone chemotherapy. A minimum of six months must pass after the last session.
· Clients who have had Botox within four weeks before or after the procedure.
For excessively oily skin types, the Powder Brows technique is generally recommended instead of microblading.
Clients with previous micropigmentation or eyebrow tattoos require an in-person evaluation prior to booking.
Full transparency regarding medical history is essential to ensure safe, effective results. Your health and safety are always our highest priority.
